I am getting famous...

It seems I am getting famous...

This is a picture of yesterday's newspaper (linked with the electronic version - free NYT-like registration needed) about FLISOL, the latin-american free software installation festival.

That resulted from a call I got Monday afternoon from this reporter asking more information about FLISOL. I have no idea how he got my cellphone number, I just answered a couple of questions and that's it.

The weird part is that bigger events (like FISL), in which I am much more involved, never yield such direct contact from a reporter. Although I am helping FLISOL, the main person is Joel Correa, a friend of mine that understood my lack of time this year and took the responsability to organize FLISOL in Debian-RS name (since he is a group member for really long time)... Apparently he never got the call from the reporter...

The funny part is that my boss at the hospital asked me about the, so-called, "interview" even before I knew it was on print. Not knowing exactly what the reporter had written I just answered something neither I could understand. Then my boss told me that he was thinking about attending FLISOL... I hope it is not me to install his box. :-)

BTW, I just voted for DPL. I think manoj is not considering that more candidates means more time needed to think...

Unbelievable...

Parliaments, as the people, does not have any power anymore. Councils rise!

... and I thought I lived in a Banana Republic...
